Abu Dhabi—President of the Emirates Policy Center (EPC), Dr. Ebtesam Al-Ketbi, received on Nov. 2-3, 2020 Maj. Gen. (Ret.) Amos Yadlin, the Executive Director of Tel Aviv University’s Institute for National Security Studies (INSS) and the accompanying delegation that comprised a number of INSS experts and researchers.

On the sidelines of the visit, the two sides signed on the first day a memorandum of understanding to organize conferences and cooperate on preparing joint studies that provide strategic analysis on issues of common interest to the two think tanks.

The signing of this MoU by EPC is based on the tri-lateral partnership agreement that was concluded and announced in mid-October. That agreement -which included in addition the two leading research institutions, the U.S Atlantic Council- aims to consolidate the UAE-Israeli relations in light of the peace accord between the two countries. The agreement also comes to reflect EPC’s keenness to build a wide network of partnerships with key think-tanks in different parts of the world with the goal of facilitating the exchange of knowledge and research expertise, and supporting means of cooperation between these research centers.
