Abu Dhabi, Oct. 11, 2017— A delegation representing Abu Dhabi Police College on Wednesday visited Emirates Policy Center (EPC) to discuss ways to establish societal partnership between the two sides, affirm endeavor of government institutions and think tanks to serve the Emirati society and improve ways to get knowledge based on credible information and deep methodological analysis.

During the meeting, EPC President Dr. Ebtesam Al-Ketbi expressed hope that the visit would pave the way for a new era of cooperation between the two sides in the fields of training on scientific research, analysis and monitoring.

“This means employment of serious methodologies to read reality, the ability to grasp signals and shifts, accumulate knowledge that helps to be aware of risks and challenges and foresee the future and look for opportunities,” Dr. Al-Ketbi said.

On his part, Dr. Colonel Saeed Matar Al-Sareedi, Deputy Commandant for Academic Affairs, expressed the delegation’s happiness at today’s visit and hoped this move would improve cooperation and partnership between the Police College and EPC and support the college’s endeavor in keeping abreast with state-of-the- art methodologies and techniques in the field of training and curriculum design.

The visiting delegation included Lieutenant Colonel Abdullah Nasser Al-Shamsi, Director of Academic Affairs, Dr. Lieutenant Colonel Mohammad Khalifa A’al Ali, Commander of Higher Studies, Major Rashid Al-Suwaidi, Deputy Commander of Higher Studies and Head of Academic Cooperation Division, Major Abdullah Saeed Al-Kahtani.
