The analysis studies various scenes of the Salafist Movement in Egypt, notably, the behavioral and moral lapses by some of its leadership, clashes by a number of their scholars with the armed forces, al Azhar, the interior ministry and celebrities. The analysis monitors the dispute between the Salafist Movement and the Muslim Brotherhood about the assessment of the political situation and ties with Iran and the United States. Nevertheless, the analysis reiterates that the Salafist organizations are the most connected to the public in poor neighborhoods, which means that they will continue to be an important political force.
