This assessment deals with the state of lawlessness in Suez, Port Said and Ismailia during Jan. 24-31, 2013 after the bloody events in Port Said stadium and reasons behind these events such as: the youth’s feeling that the revolution was hijacked from them, losing confidence in the Muslim Brotherhood and the rise of practices by what was called a third party. The assessment concludes that it is likely that the crisis will last for several weeks and the Muslim Brotherhood will continue pursuing monopoly of power and exclusion of other parties.
