Abu Dhabi, Nov. 22, 2017--Two foreign diplomats stationed in the United Arab Emirates on Wednesday visited Emirates Policy Center (EPC) to discuss regional issues and crises and benefit from EPC’s vision as one of the most notable think tanks in the UAE and the region.
Dr. Ebtesam Al-Ketbi, President of EPC, met with Mrs. Smita Pant, Deputy Chief of Mission at the Indian Embassy in Abu Dhabi and discussed with her the scope of cooperation in the research field between EPC and its Indian counterparts. The two sides reiterated that such a step would enhance understanding and contact between the two countries and the exchange of expertise and views on issues related to the security of the Gulf and South Asia regions.
Dr. Al-Ketbi also received Shon Sungwon, the Second Secretary at the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Abu Dhabi. The two sides exchanged views on the security of the Gulf region and threats facing this security. They also touched upon the future prospects of Korean-UAE relations.
