EPC | 21 Jun 2013

The issue of Houthis external finance is no longer questionable, although this was the case at the early days of the movement’s rise. Despite the government’s allegations of the existence of Iranian support, countries in the region and the world raised doubts about the credibility of these allegations. The external finance comes in two forms; official and non-official. The Yemeni government issued many statements and complaints about foreign finance to the Houthis.
