The Future of the Southern Movement as NDC Comes to an End

As soon as the NDC was concluded, some hardline factions of the Southern Movement announced its rejection of the outcomes of the Dialogue and the continuation of struggle to regain the southern state. These developments raise the question about the future of the Southern secessionist movement. Events and developments since 2011 have imposed changes over the environment of the Southern Movement, which put the movement before a tough task. What makes this task even harder is the unstable situation and the special conditions of the movement itself. This paper provides different scenarios for the future of the movement.
