The Dilemma of Islamists in Egypt: What did Islamism Lose by the Fall of the Muslim Brotherhood’s Rule?

The analysis raises the question about who will hold the seat of Islamism in Egypt after the fall of the Muslim Brotherhood’s rule? It gives the following diagnoses for the dilemma of Islamists after June 30th : the separation between Islamism and Islam, between the ideology of Islamism and the state, reconnecting Islamists with violence and accusing Islamism of unpatriotism. The analysis rules out that Islamism will regain momentum in Egypt, but Islamic presence will remain alive and will thrive at the social level.
