Modern Techniques in Crises Analysis and Strategic Crisis Management

Venue: Online course.

This course aims to teach participants the skills of crisis analysis, especial those that express internal shifts in any country, the region or the world. Participants will acquire the following skills:

  • How to formulate questions of which answers will lead to an accurate understanding of the crisis.
  • Identifying who will benefit from prolonging or ending the crisis.
  • Skill of linking ongoing crisis with other crises.
  • Identifying the extent of convergence or divergence of key actors’ interests in various crises.
  • Examining skills of the likelihood of making bargains/compromises among actors.
  • How to build an “ideal strategy” to achieve the objectives of the decision-maker.
  • Skills of flexibility in strategy adjusting in case of any shifts or proved ineffective in full.


General terms and conditions

  • The minimum number of participants in each course is 10. The course will not be held if the minimum number is not available.
  • Courses will be held online via Zoom app, start at 9:00 am and end at 2:00 pm every day.
  • At the end of the course, each participant will receive a certificate of completion accredited by the Emirates Policy Center. The participant will also receive the material taught in the course.
  •   The participant will not receive a certificate unless he/she completes all course training hours.
  • To register in any course, please include: Name of required course, and the preferred date, number of participants, the employer name (institution, organization, embassy, or ministry).
