Analyzing the Terrorist Groups Discourse on Social Media

Venue: Online course.

The course teaches state-of-the-art techniques in analyzing the media discourse of terrorist groups and technologies they use to target Arab communities. The training includes the following skills:

  • Analyzing the content’s components of terrorist groups discourse on social media, creating fake accounts, and infiltration of the lives of young people on the Internet.
  • Skills of reporting online terrorist content for the purpose of blocking these suspected accounts on either Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, or other social media platforms.
  • Analyzing the messages of online terrorist content.
  • Skills of identifying fake online accounts, and of those who sympathize with extremist agendas.
  • Skills of analyzing the media discourse of terrorist groups before, during and after terrorist attacks.


General terms and conditions

  • The minimum number of participants in each course is 10. The course will not be held if the minimum number is not available.
  • Courses will be held online via Zoom app, start at 9:00 am and end at 2:00 pm every day.
  • At the end of the course, each participant will receive a certificate of completion accredited by the Emirates Policy Center. The participant will also receive the material taught in the course.
  •   The participant will not receive a certificate unless he/she completes all course training hours.
  • To register in any course, please include: Name of required course, and the preferred date, number of participants, the employer name (institution, organization, embassy, or ministry).
